Daw Mu Nan (45), a Kayan Lahwi farmer and mother of eight, rests at her grandson's home in Pa Dan Kho Village located in Kayah State, Myanmar. The Kayan Lahwi tribe are a sub-group of Karenni people, the Tibeto-Burman ethnic minority of Myanmar. The women of the tribe are well known for wearing neck rings, brass coils that are placed around the neck, appearing to lengthen it.
