Kogi Colombia SP

from $450.00

Kogi men play music at night during a Cualama ceremony in “la Casa Maria,” a meeting space for men in the Waniyacka community. Cualama is a 10-day ritual that happens in April and June. It pays honor to the change in season and mother nature, and it asks for abundant rains for a good harvest. This community, made up of 55 homes within Colombia's La Guajira, is powered by solar panels, as it is too remote to be connected to the grid.
