Ilenia draws in her studio inside her cave home in Granada, Spain. An artist specializing in illustration, mural and body painting, and performance art, she moved to Spain from Italy in 2015. She discovered this cave community in 2017 while visiting friends. In 2020, she found a covered cave, emptied it, and made it habitable. For Ilenia, living in a cave offers a balance of nature and city life while saving money to pursue her passion for the arts.
